SSC CGL Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 12,256 Vacancies at ssc.gov.in

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially declared the maga recruitment drive of the year by publishing the SSC CGL 2026 Notification. This year, the commission aims to fill an estimated 12,256 tentative vacancies for highly sought-after Group 'B' and Grops 'C' positions across various Central Government Ministries, Departments, and Administrative offices. 

The Online application gateway went live on may 21, 2026. Eligible graduates can complete their SSC CGL Apply Online 2026 process via the newly launched official web portal at ssc.gov.in before the deadline on june 22, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria (Age Limit & Qualification) : 

Before Clicking the registration link, candidates must meet the foundational benchmarks calculated as of the crucial cutoff date specified in the official notice:

• Educational Qualification : A Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Age Limit : Varies post - wise, generally ranging from 18 to 30 years or 18 to 23 years (with standard upper age relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST categories).
• Application Fee : 100 for General, EWS, And OBC Male candidates. Women, SC, ST, PwBD, And Ex-Servicemen (ESM) are completely exempted from paying the fee. 

How to Apply Online for SSC CGL 2026:

• Visit the Portal : Go to the official Staff Selectio Commission website at ssc.gov.in.
• Complete OTR : Click on the registration link to complete your One Time Registration (OTR). Note that completing Aadhaar -based authentication is now a mandatory security requirement. 
• Log In : Access your dashboard using the newly generated OTR Registration ID and Password. 
• Find the Exam Link : Under the live recruitment tab, Look for " Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2026" and Click on "Apply".
• Check Pre -filled info : Review your academic and personal background pulled from your OTR profile.
• Capture Live Photograph : As per the updated guidelines, you must capture a clear live photograph via you webcam or the official mySSC Mobile app. Ensure you are not wearing spectacles, caps, or masks.
• Submit Fee & Final Form : Pay the 100 fee using net banking, UPI, or credit/debit cards. verify your details via the preview layout, hit Submit, and print the confirmation page for safety.
