Step-by-step Guide to Apply Online for Income Certificate:

Follow these stes to submit your application online:

Step 1: Registration on Digital Gujarat Portal
  1. Visit the offical website of Digital Gujarat.
  2. If you are a new user, click on the "Register" option on the top right corner.
  3. Enter your mobile Number, Email ID, and create a password. Verify your account using the OTP sent to your mobile.
  4. If you already have an account, simply click "Login" using your credentials.
Setp 2: Selecting the Income Certificate Service:
  1. Onec logged in, navigate to the dashboard and click on "Services" from the top manu, then select "Revenue Services".
  2. Look for the service titled "Income Certificate" or "Revenue - Income Certificate" from the list.
  3. Read the basic instructions and click on the "Apply Online" button.
Step 3: Filling out the Application From
  1. Applicant Datails: Enter personal Details such as full name, date of birth, gender, aadhaar number, and occupation.
  2. Address Datails: Provide your current residential and permanent address.
  3. Income Details: Enter your accurate annual family income and specify the purpost for which you require the certificate.
Setp 4: Uploading Documents & Payment 
  1. Upload the required identity proof, residence proo, and income verification documents in the designated aections.
  2. Review all details carefully to avoid spelling errors.
  3. Proceed to the payment gateway to pay the nominal processing fee of RS. 20/- via Net banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI.
  4. Click "Submit".
Track Application Status & Download Certificate:

After Submission, a unique Appliction Reference Number will be generated and sent via SMS.
  • To check the status, log back into The Gujarat Portal, go to your profile dashboard, and click on "Check Status".
  • Once the designated authority (such as the Mamlatdar or Talati) digitally signs your certificate, the status will show as "Approved".
  • You can click on the download link to save your digitally signed income certificate directly to your device and print it whenever necessary.
