ભારતનું પૂર્વીય રાજ્ય, ઓડિશા, જેના સૌથી ગરમ વિસ્તારનું નામ તિતલાગઢ મંદિર છે. આમાં એક જગ્યા કુમ્હરા પર્વત પણ છે, ખાસ કરીને તે ખૂબ જ ગરમ રહે છે. કારણ કે અહીં સવારથી સાંજ સુધી સીધો તીવ્ર સૂર્યપ્રકાશ રહે છે અને આ વિસ્તાર ખડકાળ ખડકોથી પણ ભરેલો છે. હવે જ્યારે ખડકો ગરમ છે ત્યારે સ્વાભાવિક છે કે તેના કારણે અહીં ગરમીનો અહેસાસ પણ વધુ થાય છે. પરંતુ આ કાળઝાળ ગરમીમાં પણ જ્યારે તમે અહીં સ્થિત શિવ-પાર્વતી મંદિરની અંદર જશો તો તમને ભગવાનના ચમત્કારનો સીધો જ અહેસાસ થશે, જે એક અદ્ભુત અનુભૂતિ હશે.

      ભગવાન શિવ અને માતા પાર્વતીનું રહસ્યમય પ્રાચીન મંદિર તિતલાગઢ નજીક કુમ્હરા પર્વત પર આવેલું છે. જે તેની રહસ્યમય ઊર્જા, દૈવી અનુભૂતિ અને ચેતના માટે પ્રખ્યાત છે. આ મંદિર એક એવું અનોખું મંદિર છે જે આ આધુનિક યુગના વિજ્ઞાન માટે પણ એક વણઉકેલાયેલ કોયડો છે. આ એક એવું મંદિર છે જ્યાં તમે અંદર જાઓ તો ઉનાળામાં પણ ઠંડી લાગે છે. મંદિરની બહાર એક મોટો પથરાળ પર્વત છે, જે સતત ગરમીને કારણે ગરમ થતો રહે છે. પરંતુ શિવ મંદિરની અંદરનું તાપમાન ઠંડુ અને આહલાદક રહે છે.

      ભારતમાં મે અને જૂન મહિનામાં ગરમી પડવાથી આપણે સૌ પરિચિત છીએ. તેવી જ રીતે આ વિસ્તારમાં પણ જ્યારે બહારનું તાપમાન ઘણી વખત 55 ડિગ્રી સુધી પહોંચી જાય છે, પરંતુ આ સ્થિતિમાં પણ તિતલાગઢના આ અદ્ભુત શિવ મંદિરની અંદર ઠંડી પણ વધી જાય છે અને એટલું જ નહીં, ગરમીની ઋતુમાં ઘણી વખત આવી સ્થિતિ આવે છે. તે બેઠેલા પૂજારી અને ભક્તોએ હળવો ધાબળો પહેરવો પડશે.

      જ્યારે આ મંદિરમાં હાજર કેટલાક નિષ્ણાતો અને ભક્તોને આ વિશે પૂછવામાં આવ્યું તો તેઓ માને છે કે આ મંદિરમાં ઠંડીનો સ્ત્રોત ભગવાન શિવ અને માતા પાર્વતીની મૂર્તિ છે. જે પોતે કૈલાસમાં રહે છે અને પોતાના ભક્તોને બહારની કાળઝાળ ગરમીથી રાહત આપવા માટે પોતાના દેવતા કૈલાસ જેવી ઠંડી હવાનું વાતાવરણ બનાવે છે, જેનાથી મંદિરમાં આવતા ભક્તને કૈલાસથી ઠંડીનો અનુભવ થાય છે.

      When some experts and devotees present in this temple were asked about this, they believed that the source of coolness in this temple is the idol of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati. Who himself resides in Kailas and creates an atmosphere of cool air like his deity Kailas to relieve his devotees from the scorching heat outside, so that the devotees who come to the temple feel the coolness of Kailas.

      હવે આ અજાયબીના કારણે આ મંદિર ખૂબ જ ચમત્કારી માનવામાં આવે છે. જ્યાં દૂર દૂરથી ભક્તો ભગવાનના દર્શન કરવા આવે છે. આ મંદિરમાં શ્રાવણ માસ અને વર્ષની વિશેષ તિથિઓમાં વિશેષ પૂજા કરવામાં આવે છે, પરંતુ મહાદેવ મંદિર હોવાને કારણે આ શિયાળામાં જલાભિષેક કરવાનું પણ મહત્વ છે. એવું માનવામાં આવે છે કે આ ચમત્કારી મંદિરના દર્શન કરવાથી જ ભક્તોની તમામ મનોકામનાઓ પૂર્ણ થાય છે.

This temple is worshiped during Shravan month and special dates of the year, but being a Mahadev temple, Jalabhishekam is also important in this winter. It is believed that all the wishes of the devotees are fulfilled just by visiting this miraculous temple.

How to reach Titlagarh (Shiva Temple):

Titlagarh Junction is connected to almost all major cities of the country. Which makes it very easy to reach here. And it is close to NH 59. You will easily find many means like auto or private vehicles from the railway junction to reach the temple.
