Also Been Concerned About The Welfare Of Registered Workers Through The Labor
Welfare Board As Well As The Workers Welfare For Unorganized Sector Workers
Through The Construction Workers Welfare Board – The Holistic Development Of
Their Families.
Gujarat Labour Welfare Fund Bicycle Scheme 2021 aims to provide
financial assistance of Rs. 1500 to the registered labourers for purchase of
cycle. The main aim of Cycle Yojana in Gujarat is to provide financial
assistance to uplift the life of unorganized sector workers. Moreover, labour
department wants to create the best environment for the registered workers.
Gujarat
Labour Cycle Yojana Conditions
Under the scheme the state government of Gujarat gives Rs. 1500
to purchase bicycle for going to work place without any hassle and is available
for all registered workers of the Gujarat state. The terms and conditions to
avail Gujarat Labour Bicycle Scheme are as follows:-
- The worker must be registered with at-least
1 year of regular membership / subscription
- This facility is only available for 1 time
in 5 years duration and at-most 5 times in their lifetime.
- Labourer will have to disclose cost, trade
mark, source and date of purchase of bicycle.
- Moreover, applicant must be a resident of Gujarat.

Labour Cycle Yojana Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility
criteria for Cycle Yojana of Gujarat Labour Department is mentioned in the
table below:-
§ The
monthly salary of the worker should be less than Rs. 35,000
§ The
last 3-year job continues
at any Place.
§ Under
this scheme, the bicycle should have been purchased by the employer after 01/04/2020.
§ The
application must be made within
6 months.
§ Subsidy
on the cost of bicycles. 1,500
Subsidy assistance will be given.
§ The
benefit of this scheme can be availed only
once during the period of service.
