My Ration :
Most of Ration card holder does not lift all commodity from FPS shop because there is lack of information for which commodity they are eligible, how much is the commodity entitlement and price of commodity. Government of Gujarat provides number of scheme for needy person regarding low price commodity. Govt. also provides some scheme on special occasions (like festival season, scarcity, flood, pandemic etc.), but all users don’t get the benefit because there is lack of information or information not reaches up to common user level.
In this mobile app Ration card holder can check his/her entitlement, quantity of entitlement and its price. How much quantity ration card holder had obtained and how much quantity is remaining to obtain. This app also provides Ration card details, entitlement and last 6 months transaction to ration card holder.
User can also get information regarding the various tasks which is taken against Ration card. Citizen can also apply for ration card services with the help of this app.
Ration Card :
Generally, every family residing
within the state has the right to get ration card. For this the head of the
family has to give full details in the form as per the prescribed form
prescribed by the state government and apply to the office of Taluka Mamlatdar
/ Zonal Officer of his area with supporting evidence. As per the provisions of
Citizen's Charter, the Taluka Mamlatdar Shri / Zonal Officer has to check the
application of the applicant and as per the requirement, determine the category
of the card, obtain the photos and biometric details of the head of the family
/ members, issue a barcoded ration card. Under the Barcoded Ration Card Scheme,
the cardholder has to visit the e-gram / cybercafe on the basis of their
biometric details and get the barcoded coupons of the quantity of essential
items to be found according to the category of their card. Personal coupons for
each item available to cardholders are printed and given on A-3 size barcoded
coupon sheet. And above those coupons are also shown the name of the card
holder, the number of the card, the name of the shopkeeper from whom the
quantity is to be obtained, the quantity of goods to be received for that
month, price etc. The state government has priced the coupon sheet at Rs. 5 / -
has been decided. A copy of the cardholder is also printed in the middle of the
coupon sheet. While the barcoded coupon on both the ends of the A / 3 size
paper sheet has to be cut as per the requirement and the amount indicated on
the fair price shopkeeper / kerosene agent / hawker has to be paid to get the
quantity printed on the coupon. At the same time, the quantity of essential
items obtained during the month of that year should also be noted in the
barcoded ration card. Arrangements are also being considered in the coming days
for the barcoded ration card holder to be able to get the quantity of essential
items from any fair price shop.
The coupon obtained through the implementation of barcoded ration card as well as biometric based coupon system as per fair price shopkeeper or kerosene retailer or hawker should be read at their own convenience, but in any case, by visiting Egram / Cyber Cafe before the end of the month. In the coming days fair price shopkeepers or hawkers / retailers of kerosene will be able to get the next month's permit for the quantity of the required item according to the items sold during the month by the coupon method.
