Namo Lakshmi Yojana Gujarat Registration Apply Online Official Website 2024
As per the National Education Policy 2020, recommendations were made to ensure that students complete secondary and higher secondary education after universalization of primary education. Taking into consideration by the Government, there was a need to strengthen girl education and adolescent girls' nutrition and health. Keeping this in mind, this scheme has been implemented.

Eligibility of Beneficiary:
The students studying in secondary and higher secondary in schools recognized by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) of the state will be eligible for this assistance as per the eligibility specified by the Govt.
1. Have completed class VIII in a government or aided primary school in the state and got admission in class IX or
2. Have completed RTE admission in a recognized private primary school of the state and completed class 1 to 8 and passed class 9 OR
3. Other than 1 and 2 above, the girl students who have got admission in class 9 after completing class – 8 and whose family annual income is Rs. 6 lakh or less.
Assistance Available:
Under this scheme, every eligible student who has completed secondary and higher secondary education will get a total of Rs. Assistance upto 50000/- will be available as follows.
1. Class 9 and 10 received a total of Rs. 2000/- assistance will be paid. Out of this assistance, monthly for 10 months during the academic year in 9th and 10th standard is Rs. 500/- per annum Rs. 5000/- for both the years received total Rs. 10000/- will be paid. While the remaining Rs. 10000/- will be available after passing the board exam of class 10th.
2. Class 11 and 12 received a total of Rs. 30000/- assistance will be paid. Out of this assistance, monthly for 10 months during the academic year in 11th and 12th standard is Rs. 750/- per annum Rs. 7500/- for both the years received total Rs. 15000/- will be paid. While the remaining Rs. 15000/- will be available after passing the board exam of class 12.
Procedure for Payment of Assistance Amount:
1. The Director of Schools will be the implementing officer of this scheme.
2. The Director will create a separate “Namo Lakshmi” portal for smooth administration of this aid scheme by schools.
3. Payment will be made into the bank account.
